I look back every now and then to when we became so close, a few months ago when everything seemed just right, and the world seemed to be at peace. Because with your hand in mine, we could conquer anything, and now we're left only to conquer eachother. An idea I wish to discard, to leave behind and never go back.
Just once I want someone to look at me and right away think I'm beautiful. Not after they get to know me, or after they see inside my soul, just me. I want to walk into a room and light it up.
I never really did say thank you for being there. But you never really stayed long enough to deserve it.

| At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. Instead, they fence you in, that's how we're made. So you can waste your lives drawing lines, or you can live your life crossing them. In case you forgot, talking to me is still legal. I'm still here sitting, waiting, for my phone to beep, and have a text message from you saying that, of course, you were kidding. And that you could never forget. Everyone’s so sad these days. Theres only a few people who are actually happy. Most just fake it. At least some of us, have the guts to show it, to shout to the world that we want more, that we’re lonely, that we just want to be loved. | | |
